Most social media is focused on right now. We post pictures of what we are doing, check in to show people where we are, comment about what everyone else is talking about. People don't usually go into much detail, and what they share is usually seeking the approval of others. Because there is status in having large friends lists, we often don't post freely because we don't know who might be reading.
Family lore encourages you to tell stories to your family, about yourself and about other members of the family. Upload pictures, videos, recipes, not for positive feedback but because you want to share them with the ones you love and who love you.

When there is no one left alive who remembers us, what are we besides birth, death and marriage records? Family Lore gives you the opportunity to tell your stories, as well as to capture the stories that you remember about your relatives while you are still alive to tell them.
